Stress-Free Pet Transport in Mackay, Trusted Since 2004
Why Mackay Pet Owners Trust Petflyers
Pet Transport Mackay Logistics
At Petflyers, we understand the local geography and logistics behind Pet Transport Mackay. We work with Mackay Airport (MKY) and trusted airline partners to make sure your pet’s journey is smooth, whether they’re headed to another Australian city or overseas via a connecting flight. For pet owners further out in the region, we can also arrange ground transport to get your pet to the airport if that’s more practical than travelling into Mackay yourself.

Your pet is fitted for an IATA-approved travel crate sized for their comfort and safety, and we guide you through acclimatising them ahead of the big day.

Pet Transport Mackay - Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Pet Transport Mackay cost?
Pricing depends on your pet’s size, the crate required, and whether you’re travelling domestically or internationally. Get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote tailored to your pet’s journey.
How far in advance should I book?
For domestic travel, a few weeks’ notice is usually enough. For international moves, especially to rabies-sensitive countries, we recommend starting the process three to six months ahead due to blood testing and waiting-period requirements.
Does Mackay Airport have direct international pet transport flights?
No – Mackay Airport is domestic-only, so international pet moves are coordinated with an onward connection through Brisbane. We handle that routing as part of the booking, so it’s a seamless process for you.
Can I travel on the same flight as my pet?
In many cases, yes – depending on the airline and crate size, pets can travel as excess baggage, manifest cargo, or in some cases the cabin. We’ll talk you through the best option for your situation.
